MATLAB at Lamont

MATLAB at Lamont

MATLAB  is an integrated technical computing environment that combines numeric computation, advanced graphics and visualization, and a high-level programming language. MATLAB includes hundreds of functions for data analysis and visualization, numeric and symbolic computation, engineering and scientific graphics, modeling/simulation and prototyping, and programming/application development and GUI design.

We are now licensing our network MATLAB through Columbia University's servers.

You can order a Matlab license by providing an ARC Chartstring which will allow you to download and use the software. Some departments and schools designate a liaison to act as a single point of contact for everyone within their organization to order licenses, install the software and who in some cases manage a lab server for that department. Please email with your [email protected] for assistance with downloading Matlab if you have one.

New pricing for the 2016-17 License Period for standalone or Designated Licenses are $335 per license per fiscal year.

Documentation

Documentation is available at MathWorks. Guides and other reference materials can also be purchased separately through third parties. System requirements and technical support are available through the Mathworks Support website.
